Kamil Emre Erciyas (Chairman of the Board)

Born in 1983, K. Emre Erciyas currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board at Erciyas Holding A.Ş. Following his graduation from FMV Nişantaşı Işık High School in 2001, Erciyas earned a degree in “Production Systems Engineering” from Sabancı University in 2006. He later completed his master’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley.

K. Emre Erciyas began his professional career in 2006 as the Vice General Manager at Erciyas Çelik Boru San. A.Ş. in 2009, he assumed the position of Business Development Manager and subsequently worked in various departments and positions within the company.

In 2013, He founded Erciyas Energy and Briza Wind Energy.

Erciyas enjoys a variety of personal interests, including extreme sports and adventure, travel, motorsports, sailing, skiing, snowboarding, diving, climbing and volleyball.

Yılmaz BAĞ (Vice Chairman of the Board):

Born in Bilecik in 1965, Bağ was graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Finance department. In 1989, he started working as Accounting & Finance Officer at Butoni Denizcilik A.Ş. and then worked at FTC FrimakDay Tüketim Malları A.Ş. between 1996 to 1998, as a Finance and Human Resources Officer.

He has been working at Erciyas Holding A.Ş. since 1998 and performing as Board Member at Erciyas Holding, Erciyas Rail, Erciyas Enerji A.Ş., Glober Lojistik A.Ş., Chairman of the Board at Argaios Tur. Yatçılık San Ve Tic A.Ş., Vice Chairman of the Board at Brise Elek. Üret. San. Ve Tic. A.Ş

Bağ is married and has a daughter.

Kamil Bilge ERCİYAS (Board Member):

Born in Istanbul in 1998, K. Bilge Erciyas studied Law and International Relations at King’s College, London after graduating from TED Private College, and completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Law, University of London.

Before his undergraduate education, he took summer courses at Harvard, Yale and King’s College between 2014 and 2017. Since 2014, he did internships in the field of production and law at Erciyas Çelik Boru, Briza Enerji, Bimaş Bisiklet, Gemsan and İplikçioğlu Hukuk in Turkiye and at Vogue Fietsen Bike Company in the Netherlands. During his student years, he took part in many social responsibility projects on a voluntary basis.

He is Vice Chairman of the Board at Bimaş Bisiklet Motosiklet San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and Board Member of Erciyas Çelik Boru San A.Ş..

Teoman DOĞAN- (Board Member):

Born in Istanbul in 1955, Teoman Doğan was graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and completed his Master’s Degree in Heat-Process Technique at the same school.

In 1978, he started his business life at Badger/Pan American Company Tüpraş Construction Site, continued in various managerial positions at Türk Pirelli Lastikleri and Brisa Lastik Sanayi A.Ş.. Started working as General Coordinator at Erdem Holding Group in 2000, he worked at Adapazarı Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş. he took part in the structuring and realization of the first stage investments.

Doğan, who joined Erciyas Holding at the beginning of 2004, was appointed as General Manager of Erciyas Çelik Boru San A.Ş. in 2005 and served in this position until 2017.

Doğan, holds multiple positions at Erciyas Holding group companies as Board Members of Erciyas Çelik Boru San. A.Ş., Erciyas Holding A.Ş., Erciyas Rail Raylı Ulaşım Araçları Sanayi A.Ş. and RC Ulaşım Araçları Yatırım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

Selma AKDOĞAN (Independent Board Member)

Graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Economics, Selma Akdoğan embarked on her professional journey in 1986 at Balnak Logistics, where she spearheaded the marketing and business development division. Over her 19-year tenure at Balnak, she established and expanded air, sea, and combined transportation departments, assuming roles as General Manager and CEO from 1995 onwards. During this period, she led the company’s corporate restructuring efforts, fostering sustainable growth and implementing the EFQM Excellence Model. Akdoğan also spearheaded the company’s participation in the TÜSİAD KalDer Excellence Award process.

To share her expertise with other organizations, Akdoğan founded Today & Tomorrow Consultancy in 2005. While providing management consulting services to logistics companies, she also assisted industrial firms in optimizing their supply chain processes and efficiency. Additionally, she contributed to various mergers and acquisitions projects.

In 2007, Akdoğan joined Karadeniz Holding as a consultant, where she spent 15 years building the company’s Corporate Governance Structure (CBSO). She played a pivotal role in managing both operational activities and transformative initiatives as the company expanded globally with innovative energy solutions.

Concurrently, Akdoğan served as an Independent Board Member at Yusen İnci Logistics for seven years. After leaving this role in 2022, she took on the position of Vice President at Miller Holding, where she focused on trade and construction activities in African countries.

Currently, Akdoğan continues to serve on various boards and as a consultant, leveraging her expertise in corporate restructuring, corporate governance modeling, internal audit, risk management, and HR management.

Throughout her career, Akdoğan has been actively involved in social initiatives, serving on the boards of UTİKAD, TGSD, KALDER, and KAGİDER.

Dr. Hakan AVDAN (Independent Board Member)

Dr. Hakan Avdan is a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of experience in investment and capital markets. Having initiated his career in the United States, he subsequently held senior executive positions at leading brokerage firms in Turkey. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions, equity trading, and fund management. He has served as Vice General Manager responsible for IPOs, foreign investor relations, and research at various capital market institutions. Between 2012 and 2018, he held the positions of General Manager and Board Member at Invest AZ Investment and Securities.

Prior to his roles in the financial sector, Avdan worked at EY, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and financing. He has also been a managing partner at a law firm and a senior executive at an international finance company. Dr. Avdan has served as a senior international consultant for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on projects related to developing credit guarantee systems and SME financing in developing countries. Currently, he is an Independent Board Member at Erciyas Çelik Boru A.Ş. and a Board Member at Atlas Portföy Yönetim A.Ş.

Dr. Avdan holds a Law degree from Ankara University, an MBA from Adelphi University in New York, and a Ph.D. in Banking and Insurance from Marmara University. His areas of expertise include capital markets, foreign investors, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, law, and domestic and international company formation.

He is a frequent lecturer at various universities, teaching courses on money and banking, banking and financial institutions, capital markets law in Turkey and the world, and business economics.

Dr. Avdan is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, TKYD, TABA/AmCham, and is actively involved in various non-profit organizations such as the Darülaceze Foundation and Rotary.
